The responsibilities of the notetaker are:

Attend all board and general membership meetings and take notes using a template.
Edit notes within 1 week of the meetings.
Send notes to the Coordinating Committee via email, and post the notes on the website.
Report time on a per-job basis.

Required skills for the notetaker:

Ability to touch-type as people are talking.
Discretion about what to include in official MCC minutes.

This position's end date is May 31st, 2015.

To apply:
Send a brief letter to Coordinating Committee that describes any previous note-taking experience you have, and whether you have access to a laptop computer (this is not required; MCC has a laptop available if the notetaker does not have one). Send all inquiries and applications to by February 18th. Coordinating Committee will look over applications on the 18th and inform all applicants of their decision the next day.
